Our batteries are manufactured under tight supervision of our highly qualified technocrats. Our Quality Control Department is observing every stage of manufacturing process, testing of raw material and finished product. We have in-house testing for each product. Our mission is to devote attention towards bringing quality into the products at all phases right from the initial identification to final satisfaction of customer’s requirements and expectations. GEM’s high heat technology makes sure that it can function equally well under extreme temperatures – Thus making it completely temperature resistant and perfect for Indian weather conditions.

The computer generated grid design of Plates improves performance by reducing corrosion and internal resistance. GEM plates are casted on the automatic grid casting machines ensuring a proper uniformity and better quality. The plates contain approximately 2.4% antimony, providing higher tolerance of cycling at elevated temperatures. It eliminates problems related to traditional levels of antimony – like high gassing and internal power loss on charge. Extra heavy duty plates manufactured as per exclusive GEM designs ensure durability, resistance to corrosion and inbuilt margins for high ambient temperatures and vibration.


GEM has a major technological advantage in comparison to other manufacturers with the use of new generation DARAMIC – USA PE with glass mat separators. GEM’s batteries are tested under BIS Norms such as C20, C10, C5, C1, HRD Cold, HRD Normal and many more rugged tests and are duly passed under such Conditions.

Environmental Policy

GEM batteries is committed to comply with applicable environmental legislation and regulations and shall prevent elements if pollution through various means like material substitution, recycling and process modifications.

We shall control emissions, spillagages, watses and save energy from our various operations and shall periodically set and review the environmental objectives and targets for continual improvements.
